Dr. Sanmeet Kaur ( Prinicipal Investigator)
Dr. Sanmeet Kaur is an Associate Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology Patiala, Punjab, India. She has earned her ME (Software Engineering) in 2008 and Ph.D. in 2015 from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology Patiala. Her Ph.D. is in Intrusion Detection and Signature Generation under the broader area of network security. She is certified as an Ethical Hacker (C|EH) by EC-Council USA. Her areas of interest are Network Security, IoT, BlockChain, and Software Engineering. She has published more than 30 research papers and articles in Journals, Conferences, and Magazines of repute.
Dr. Parteek Kumar Bhatia (Co-Principal Investigator)
Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala. He has more than eighteen years of academic experience, including six years at D.A.V College Amritsar. He has earned his B.Tech from SLIET and MS from BITS Pilani. He has completed his Ph.D. on “UNL Based Machine Translation System for the Punjabi Language” from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology. He has published more than 75 research papers and articles in Journals, Conferences, and Magazines of repute.
Er. Abhishek Khanna (Research Scholar)
Abhishek Khanna is M.C.A., 2007; M.Tech (CSA), 2014, Ph.D. (CSE) pursuing from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, Punjab. He has several publications in reputed journals and conferences. His area of research includes the Internet of Things, Wireless Sensor Networks, Precision Agriculture, and Smart Agriculture.
Er. Sukhwinder Singh (Research Fellow)
He is a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, and has completed Masters of Engineering from Thapar University in 2019. His research interest includes Precision Agriculture, machine learning, deep learning, statistical analysis, data retrieval, manipulation and visualization of information. he has submitted two research papers in SCI journals and published two conference papers in the field of precision agriculture.
Mr. Aditya Ghodgaonkar (Web and Android developer)
He is working as a freelancer program analyst, He contributes to develop online tools and manage web platforms and cloud services. He completed his MCA from the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, India.
Mr. Parvez Alam (Ex-MCA Intern, 2019)
He completed his internship in the field of Internet of Things and developed an IoT device to fetch real-time recordings of the room environment.
